Little Party

This series of embroidery is full of fun and play between people, animals and plants. See as they support each other to build and create beautiful things together.

Each embroidery is made by hand with care, love and dedication in Colombia by Alejandra Oviedo. Each piece is one of a kind.

Her work begins with a sketch and list of everything that inspires the work. Alejandra then creates a color palette and draws onto the fabric. Alejandra creates outfits for each character (never repeating a look!) It takes her weeks to prepare her hands for a project with such detail.  She carefully embroiders each detail...hair, flower faces, animals etc.) She then carefully washes the fabric and secures it into the hoop.
